Well, we have a one year old now...

...and a 3 year old and a 5 year old. I sometimes wonder how on earth that is possible. ;P

Anyhoo, Ethan had his one year check up last week and he's growing well. 21 lbs, 9.5 oz and 30.5 inches tall. My BIG newborn is now a pretty average one year old. Heh.

His doctor was a little concerned about some birthmarks that he has. Ok, not some...more like 30. And he has a few other bumps (or tiny little tumors) on his face and head. He referred us to a pediatric neurologist to rule out or diagnose neurofibromatosis. I made the appointment and the first one they had was for December 15th!! I called his doctor back and he said that it was no big rush to get him in, so unless there is a cancellation, December it is. Ugh. There's really nothing that they will do to treat him at this point anyway, but still...

So...that's that.

Here's a picture of him at his birthday party. :)

He had fun opening presents, but he threw up after he ate his cake. ;D

Pictures. :-)

This is a picture of my brother Robby when he was about one. There was no date on the back of the picture, so we're guessing. Ethan is standing at the same staircase in the picture next to him.

One of Will. I had to beg him to stand still for me.

One of Abby. Look at that glare!

One of all of the kids. Well, sort of. Abby on top of Ethan as usual, and Will's feet in the corner. ;)

10 more days...until the big "1".

Wow. 10 days. What a difference a year makes, huh?

Last year the thought of 10 more days felt like an eternity. Heck, 10 minutes felt like forever. Now, 10 days feels like a blink of an eye. I can't believe that my little (ok, he wasn't so little, but now he's not that huge) guy is going to be one. Surely, that can't be possible.

I'm in denial...
